After Mexico City, we headed to San Cristóbal, where the students engaged with multiple NGOs, including Cántaro Azul. We also learned about water issues in San Cris, the students built two different kinds of incubator for the bacterial water quality analysis, tested Moringa and nopal for coagulation/flocculation of La Kisst wetland water, and use lime juice and SODIS for water disinfection. There was also time for some fun and local food, of course!
