At 10am this morning, all 8 of us students were in Houston waiting for a Lyft. After a full day of sleeping on planes and taxis,

our crew finally made it to San Cris at 8:30pm. We were a hangry group, but the vibrant city welcomed us and helped us look forward to our journey ahead!
We are staying at a lovely Hostel right near the center of the city run by a Cantaro employee. It has the wonderful Mexican architecture style where the center of the building is simply a garden. We are going to wake up to a sunny green patio and some wonderful San Cris fruits!
For dinner, we went to a local classic TierraDentro. After a day of mostly snacking, we filled our stomachs with Aguas, Quesadillas, and Tacos!

We are about to head to sleep so that we can make it to the office at 8:30 tomorrow, but we are all looking forward to a week full of learning and hard work!
